Box Score

BLOOMSBURG — Jamie Vanartsdalen (Huntington Valley/Lower Moreland) scored two goals to lead Bloomsburg University to a 6-0 win over Seton Hill College on Thursday night. With four points scored, Vanartsdalen became Bloomsburg University’s career points leader with 176 points, surpassing Denise Miller’s school record of 174.

Heckard then scored a goal of her own a little over four minutes later off an Amy Gilbert (Duncannon/Susquenita) assist to make the score 2-0.

Vanartsdalen scored her first goal of the contest at the 14 minute mark and proceeded to break the points record, scoring with 38 seconds left in the first half, giving the Huskies a 4-0 halftime advantage.

The Huskies remain at home this weekend for a Saturday afternoon clash with Mansfield University. The action gets underway at noon.
